The Past Two Days
My muscles are weak, my bones brittle. My heart pounds furiously as my throat burns, giving way to the constant bursts of violent air escaping my mouth. Cough drops are a sad, temporary solution to this violence.
The room is hot but my body is cold for a period, then hot. I sleep for four hours at a time. I hallucinate. Somehow my body has become a wide alley in a Chinese City with rain dropping...
